He was a regular lecturer at 'Hillsong' Bible Colleges in Sydney for several years and continues to contribute to home study groups. Since returning to Australia he has authored a number of books and articles, mostly self-published. After having been involved in opening many isolated jungle airstrips to Missions and the benefits of civilization, Harold retired from Mission Aviation in December '75. Harold spent 20 years serving God with Mission Aviation Fellowship in PNG, the latter decade setting up a highly successful, community-based Airline service on Bougainville. Despite not completing Primary School due to family needs, he later achieved Dux at Commonwealth Bible College and top results in Pilot and Engineering qualifications in record times. Always athletic, in his primary school years he achieved Sports Championship of competitors from a dozen surrounding country schools. Harold Morton was born in Cooroy, Queensland (Australia) in 1928.
